Microsoft Intune & EMS

Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) is what you need to secure your corporate data. Users use various devices and apps - like Google workspace, Microsoft power apps, and more - to access corporate data.

Features

Manage Devices

Using Intune, organizations can secure information and manage devices. Users can use devices of their choice to access corporate data and other resources to be more productive. Leverage Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management.

Advanced Tracking and Reporting

Mitigate security issues by gaining meaningful insight into what’s happening with your shared data. Respond to potential leaks by revoking access and permissions. Use various reporting tools that can alert you about potential security threats and actionable items.

Information Protection

Using Azure Information Protection, encrypt files and emails on cloud and on-premises storage. Define rights for protection, and safely share data on various devices including desktops. Persistent protection ensures data is protected at all times, on all devices with any user.

Office 365 and EMS+E3

EMS enhances the security of Office 365. IT Administrators can protect data at the app level without enrolling the device. Restrict functions like copy-paste and allow web links to be opened inside the Managed Browser App.

Simplify Identity Management

The way EMS is designed, there is a unified identity for each user. Implement Multi-factor authentication to secure information. With Azure AD, organizations can easily ensure accountability with better security and governance than ever before.

Integrated on-premises management

Manage all your devices and apps from the cloud, or integrate it on-premise with your System Center Configuration manager (SCCM). Using the Intune app's Wrapping tool, restrict features of the app without changing its code. Extend data protection to your apps via the Intune app.

Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics

Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics uses Deep Packet Inspection technology to build an organization's security graph to detect advanced attacks in real time. Easily pinpoint activities. Adaptable system as it learns the behavior of your users and adjusts itself to reflect changes.

The security features in Office 365 are very limited. Though it has all the best practices, which are required in business platforms and applications for enhanced security, they are limited to Office applications only. With a separate plan for Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS), Office 365 strengthens its mobile device management capabilities. EMS+E3 provides greater control and enhanced security features. For example, Mobile Device Management in Office 365 does not give you encryption capabilities. However, with EMS+E3, you can encrypt entire corporate data for almost all types of files. Besides, features such as detecting jailbreak, and app management capabilities are not available in Mobile Device Management for Office 365. Thus, one can say that Microsoft’s Enterprise Mobility Suite offering builds on the mobile device management capabilities of Office 365.
